Who We Are & Our Goal

We are a community coalition dedicated to breast, cervical, colon, and prostate cancer education and screening for men and women.  We seek to reduce the incidence of these cancers through our educational and screening activities.
 

Our Services

We provide educational presentations to various local clubs, churches, and community organizations.  We offer free screening services for individuals that qualify.  Screening services include the following:

Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening

  • Instruction in Self-Breast Examination
  • Clinical Breast Examinations
  • Mammograms
  • Pelvic Examinations with Pap smear

Eligible Women Must Be: 

  • 40 or older
  • Family history of breast cancer, if under 40
  • Medically un-insured or under insured (prohibitive deductible, or limited coverage)
  • Meet Income Guidelines  (For more Information contact (315) 253-1560.

Colorectal and Prostate Cancer Screening

  • Risk Factor and Screening Procedures Instruction
  • Annual testing for colorectal cancer via Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT Kit)
  • Follow-up examinations (i.e. colonoscopies)

Eligible Men & Women Must Be:

  • 50 or older
  • Family history of polyps or colorectal cancer if under 50
  • Medically un-insured or under insured (i.e. have a prohibitive deductible, or limited coverage)
  • Meet Income Guidelines (250% of Federal Poverty Level.  Depends on Size of Family Household)  For more Information contact (315) 253-1560.

Free Screening Clinics

Quarterly clinics are scheduled around Cayuga County.
