Your genealogical inquiry has been received by this office. We would like to help in the search of your history. While it is our sincere effort to always provide prompt, courteous attention to all requests for information some searches may require a longer response time. Your e-mail address will enable us to acknowledge your inquiry and payment promptly.

Our rates are set by the County Legislature . Our minimum research fee is $30.00 for two hours of work plus $2.00 postage and handling. Any copies obtained at other county agencies will be billed at their rates. Additional research is available for $15.00 per hour plus copy costs, postage and handling. Research requests are only accepted by mail with payment and the completed Research Request Form (PDF File) included.

We believe you will find these to be reasonable rates for our staff assist you in your Cayuga County research. We may not be "fast" but we are "excellent"!!
